New executives to lead key client-facing functions and drive accelerated growth
Needham, MA – June 23, 2015 – INFINIDAT, a leading provider of advanced enterprise-class storage solutions, today announced the company has added three technology and storage industry veterans to its management team: Steve Sullivan, Avi Shillo, and Randy Arseneau.
Sullivan joins INFINIDAT as Vice President of Sales for the Americas and Shillo joins the company as Vice President of Sales for Asia Pacific. Both will be responsible for sales execution as well as building and leading world-class sales organizations in their respective regions. Arseneau joins as Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for leading the development and execution of global marketing and branding strategies.
Sullivan brings 20-plus years of experience leading sales initiatives at both early-stage companies and large organizations in the technology market. A seasoned sales executive who excels at building high performance sales organizations and driving significant revenue growth, Sullivan has held sales leadership roles at storage and networking companies such as Brocade, XIV, IBM, Sun, and StorageTek. Most recently at Brocade, Sullivan led the global account sales team to double digit revenue growth. At XIV, he grew revenues from zero to over $100M in the first 15 months of product release. Prior to joining XIV, Steve led sales organizations at StorageTek and then later, through acquisition, at Sun Microsystems.
Shillo has over 20 years of experience leading strategic business initiatives for large, established firms as well as smaller start-up companies. A serial entrepreneur, Shillo was founder and CEO of Secured Dimensions, which he sold to Microsoft in 2007. Until 2015, he held various senior business development roles at Microsoft, including five years at Microsoft Azure, the company’s leading public cloud platform.
Arseneau has been involved in information technology management for over 28 years, starting with 10 years at Motorola, and then nine years at VERITAS Software (via its acquisition of Precise Software). He joined IBM Storage in 2008 as a Strategic Consultant responsible for the go-to-market strategy, global sales enablement, and analyst relations. Arseneau joins INFINIDAT from Nutanix, where he ran the global sales enablement team during a period in which the company grew from $150M to over $300M in revenue, and more than tripled in headcount to over 1,100 employees worldwide.
“Steve, Avi and Randy are industry heavyweights who bring extensive experience with storage software and virtualization technologies in both established and emerging companies,” said Moshe Yanai, CEO at INFINIDAT. “Their expertise will be instrumental in driving sales of InfiniBox worldwide and continuing our leadership in next-generation enterprise storage.”

“I welcome the opportunity to take a sales leadership role in INFINIDAT’s fast-growing APAC region,” said Shillo. “I have a passion for technology innovations such as the InfiniBox, which has the promise to reshape the future of the storage industry.”
“INFINIDAT is on the cusp of revolutionizing enterprise storage,” said Arseneau. “I’m very excited to be joining this proven leadership team in our mission to aggressively establish and sustain global market leadership.”
